Tourism Week is a time to celebrate our industry’s contributions to the lives and livelihoods that are touched by the 25,546 tourism businesses in our province and is May 23 – 30. TIAA is working with partners across Canada this week to discuss and promote the contributions tourism makes to the Canadian economy, and to our national identity.
TIAA is launching a week-long advocacy and engagement campaign focused on the following four thematic areas: business liquidity supports, the predictive path to lift restrictions, stimulate summer demand, and plan for reopening borders. The efforts of our entire industry have never mattered more than right now so, we ask you to join us and undertake purposeful discussions with your MLA and MP in the days ahead. To assist, please see the resources that TIAA has developed for you HERE, including:
A template letter that enables you to quickly and easily issue a call to action to your own elected officials can also be accessed and completed in minutes HERE.
